ISO 9001 QUALITY STANDARD
ISO 9001: specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organisation: needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
Quality management ensures that an organisation, product or service is consistent. It has four main components: quality planning, quality assurance, quality control and quality improvement. Quality management is focused not only on product and service quality, but also on the means to achieve it. Quality management, therefore, uses quality assurance and control of processes as well as products to achieve more consistent quality
Meadow Court has recently achieved of a Quality Management System certificate (ISO 9001). This means that our administration, policies and procedures have been rigorously checked and shown to be of the highest quality standard.
In order to keep the ISO 9001 qualification Meadow Court has to demonstrate each year that it is maintaining quality throughout the organisation and in its service delivery. In order to maintain quality, we conduct regular audits of our services by senior managers, and external agencies such as local authorities, Investor in People and the Care Quality Commission.
In addition, we conduct regular satisfaction surveys in order to gain feedback from clients and/or their representatives, families, professionals and staff. These surveys are used to inform decision making bodies throughout our organisation and we take feedback, both good and bad, very seriously.
