Jan 2018 Investor in People Matrix for next inspection. Due October 2018
Meadow Court, a Supported Living service for Learning Disability in Taunton has just been advised that after being tested against the standard, that we are an Investor in People, Gold Standard Award.
This is our commitment to training and development and the continuous improvement for our staff in managing our responsibilities for our service users
It makes Meadow Court only the fifth (5th) out of 17,000 organisations in the UK, which care for people with learning disabilities and mental health needs, to achieve the prestigious award, meaning there are just five care organisations, that is 0.02%, in the country have achieved the gold standard, which means Meadow Court is the only supported living unit in Somerset with the gold award.
John Eaton, the Manager of Meadow Court said ‘it is both an honour to be part of a select few who have met the gold standard, and a tribute to our commitment to the training and development of our staff and that is reflected in the support all our individuals receive’.
John Eaton has a web-site that will help organisations achieve the Investor in People standard and meet all their training and development needs, including Care Certificate and CQC requirements which can be found by logging into:
